sula clothing is a sustainable independent british womenswear clothing company renowned for its commitment to slow fashion and fair trade. our garments are crafted from the finest, often hand-woven fabrics. japanese organic denim, washed irish linen, khadi cotton, and untreated hand-dyed twill linen. each piece is adorned with meticulous hand-finished details. often using cutwork embroidery, tea dyeing, and hand smocking, ensuring a unique, aged aesthetic inspired by vintage clothing but designed for modern comfort.

fabrics include super-light cotton voile; a weighty cotton with a satin like sheen; japanese artisan woven linen denim; cupro and cotton-silk mixes. techniques include softly pleated trims, shirring, smocking, drawstring ties, and patch worked pattern pieces. garment designs are inspired by french and japanese workwear. spring summer 25 prints, ‘big flower’ and ‘small flower,’ are designed by and exclusive to sula. inspired by 1930s abstracted, scattered, floral prints, they are offered in cotton voile in 3 colourways: rose, palest blue and orange. we have also introduced the finest stripes and tiniest checks.
